Three Women Join the Staff at the Science and Engineering Laboratory at the University of Massachusetts

umasslogoThree woman have joined the staff of the Science and Engineering Library at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

Spitz, BlakeBlake Spitz is librarian for the Center for Hierarchical Manufacturing. She is a graduate of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, where she majored in religious studies. Spitz earned a master’s degree in theological studies from Harvard University and a master of library and information science degree from Simmons College in Boston.

Atwood, TheaThea Atwood is the new library liaison to the departments of astronomy, computer science, and physics. She is a graduate of Indiana University in Bloomington and holds a master of library and information science degree from Syracuse University in New York.

Lutz, EllenEllen Lutz will be the library’s liaison to the department of biology and for the School of Public Health and Health Sciences. She is a graduate of Butler University in Indianapolis, where she majored in biology. Lutz earned a master of library and information science degree from Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis.
