Two Women Named to Endowed Professorships at Hope College

HopeHope College in Holland, Michigan, has announced the appointment of three faculty members to endowed professorships. Two of the new holders of endowed chairs are women.

Linda Graham was named to the Dorothy Wiley Delong Professorship in Dance. Professor Graham joined the faculty at Hope College in 1983 and currently serves as chair of the department of dance. Professor Graham received her bachelor of fine arts degree in theatre and master of fine arts degree in choreography/performance from the University of Illinois.

PardoLauraLaurie Pardo was appointed to the Evert J. and Hattie E. Biekkink Professorship. She is chair of the department of education and has served on the college’s faculty since 2005. Professor Pardo is a graduate of Central Michigan University. She holds a master’s degree and a doctorate in curriculum, teaching, and educational policy from Michigan State University.
