Bay Path College Is Now a University

Bay Path College in Longmeadow, Massachusetts, is now Bay Path University. The 117-year-old educational institution for women enrolls about 1,500 undergraduate students and more than 800 graduate students, according to the latest U.S. Department of Education statistics. In addition to its Longmeadow campus, the university has opened a new campus in downtown Springfield, and operates the first online college in the country exclusively for women.
Reflecting the new university status, Bay Path offers graduate programs in education, psychology, business, occupational therapy, communications, counseling, nonprofit management, and forensics. Several other master’s degree programs are available online.
