Three Women in New Teaching Roles

autenriethRobin Autenrieth was named chair of the department of civil engineering at Texas A&M University. She joined the university’s faculty in 1986 and since 2013 has served as the A.P. and Florence Wiley Professor.

Professor Autenrieth holds a Ph.D. from Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York.

Kathy_BrownKathy Brown was appointed clinical associate professor and director of the master of public health program at the University of Tennessee. She has been an adjunct professor at the university while serving as director of community assessment and health promotion at the Knox County Health Department.

Dr. Brown earned a master of public health degree and a doctorate at the University of Tennessee.

Elise_BoxerElise Boxer was named an assistant professor of history at the University of South Dakota. She has been serving as a visiting assistant professor in the ethnic studies program at the University of Utah.

Dr. Boxer is a graduate of Washington State University, where she majored in history and social studies. She earned a master’s degree from Utah State University and a Ph.D. in history from Arizona State University.
