Five Women Promoted and Granted Tenure at Purdue University North Central

pncsigsmThe board of trustees of Purdue University has approved the promotions of seven faculty members to associate professor at the North Central campus in Westville, Indiana. All seven faculty members also were awarded tenure. Five of the seven promotions went to women.

AnneChristo-BakerE. Anne Christo-Baker was named associate professor of organizational behavior and leadership. Dr. Christo-Baker is a graduate of the University of Sierra Leone in Africa. She holds a master’s degree in organizational development and a doctorate in education from Bowling Green State University in Ohio.

gyurkoCharlene C. Gyurko was promoted to associate professor of nursing. She is a graduate of Purdue University-Calumet. She holds master’s degrees from Indiana University Northwest in Gary and Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis and a Ph.D. from Indiana State University in Terre Haute.

RogalinChristabel L. Rogalin was appointed associate professor of sociology and awarded tenure. She holds a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree, and a Ph.D., all from the University of Iowa.

rosePeggy Rose was promoted to associate professor of nursing. She is a graduate of Loyola University and earned a master’s degree and family nurse practitioner credentials at Valparaiso University in Indiana.

schooleyAngela Schooley was named associate professor of nursing. She earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Valparaiso University and is currently pursuing a doctorate from Capella University.
