Three Women in New University Teaching Roles

crimminsEileen Crimmins was appointed University Professor at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. She holds the AARP Chair and is a professor of gerontology in the university’s Davis School of Gerontology. Professor Crimmins is also the director of the USC/UCLA Center of Biodemography and Population Health. She is a member of the Institute for Medicine and a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.

Professor Crimmins is a graduate of Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia. She holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in demography from the University of Pennsylvania.

vachonChristyne Vachon was named an assistant professor at the University of North Dakota School of Law. She has been serving as a visiting professor at the law school since the fall 2012 semester. Previously, she had taught at Northeastern University, the University of Tennessee, and the University of Nebraska.

Vachon is a graduate of Wellesley College in Massachusetts. She earned her law degree at the University of Denver.

GreenhowDanielle Greenhow was appointed an instructor of marine science at the University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Coast in Long Beach.

Dr. Greenhow recently completed her Ph.D. in marine science from the University of South Florida. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida.
