Lafayette College Provost Taking on a New Challenge

Provost-Wendy-HillWendy Hill, provost, dean of the faculty and the Rappolt Professor of Neuroscience at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, has announced that she will leave the college at the end of the academic year to become head of the Agnes Irwin School in Rosemont, Pennsylvania. Dr. Hill has been on the faculty at Lafayette College for 25 years and has served as provost for seven years.

SchoolSeal_blueLocated in the western suburbs of Philadelphia, the Agnes Irwin School for girls and young women was founded in 1869 by Agnes Irwin, the first dean of Radcliffe College and the great-great granddaughter of Benjamin Franklin. The school enrolls about 703 students from Pre-K through high school. Tuition for high school students this year is $31,600.

Professor Hill is a graduate of Rutgers University, where she majored in psychology. She holds a Ph.D. in animal behavior from the University of Washington.
