The New Director of the Women’s Center at Vanderbilt University

Adale_SholockAdale Sholock is the new director of the Margaret Cuninggim Women’s Center on the campus of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. She has served for nearly the past five years as director of the Women’s Center at West Chester University of Pennsylvania. She was also an adjunct faculty member in the women’s and gender studies program at West Chester University and also taught at Chatham University in Pittsburgh and Beloit College in Wisconsin. Earlier in her career, she was a diversity trainer for the Center for Race Relations at the YWCA of Greater Pittsburgh.

Dr. Sholock is a graduate of Chatham University. She earned a master’s degree from the University of Tulsa and a Ph.D. in English from Binghamton University of the State University of New York system.
