Two Women Named to Leadership Posts at Albany Technical College

kim_leeAlbany Technical College in Albany, Georgia, has announced the appointment of Kimberly Lee as vice president of institutional effectiveness. She was vice chancellor of adult education at Alabama Department of Postsecondary Education. She previously served for 19 years as an administrator for the Technical College System of Georgia.

Dr. Lee obtained her bachelor’s degree in international affairs and a master’s degree in learning disabilities at Florida State University. She recently received her doctorate in adult education from the University of Georgia.

troycia_webbTroycia Webb was named dean of academic technology at Albany Tech. For the past 11 years, she has served as an administrator at Albany State University. She was director of Albany State’s Online Learning Programs.

A veteran of the U.S. Navy, Webb earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science and a master’s degree in instructional technology from Troy University in Alabama. She holds a second master’s degree from the Florida Institute of Technology and is working for a doctorate in education from Walden University.
