Stefanie Lindquist Is a Finalist for Dean of the School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Georgia

The School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Georgia has announced three finalists to lead the school as dean. The three candidates will all visit the Athens campus in April and participate in a presentation and forum with members of the campus community. One of the three finalists is a woman.

lindquist_stefanieStefanie A. Lindquist holds the Charles Alan Wright Chair in Federal Courts at the University of Texas School of Law. She also serves as associate dean for external affairs at the law school. She has been on the faculty at the University of Texas since 2009. Previously, she taught at Vanderbilt University from 2004 to 2008 and at the University of Georgia from 1996 to 2004. She is the co-author of Measuring Judicial Activism (Oxford University Press, 2009).

Professor Lindquist is a graduate of Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pennsylvania. She holds a law degree from Temple University and a Ph.D. in political science from the University of South Carolina.
