In Memoriam: Marilyn Krukowski, 1932-2013

krukowskiMarilyn Krukowski, professor emerita of biology in the College of Arts and Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis, died last week in St. Louis. She had been suffering from multiple scelorsis. Professor Krukowski was 80 years old.

Professor Krukowski was a native of New York City. She was a graduate of Brooklyn College of the City University of New York system and went on to earn a Ph.D. at New York University. She began her academic career at New York Medical College and then joined the faculty at Washington University in 1969. She taught vertebrate anatomy at the university for 30 years. Dr. Krukowski was promoted to full professor in 1987 and retired as professor emerita in 2002.
