Rutgers Professor Serving as Chief Economist for the Labor Department

JennyHuntJennifer Hunt, a professor of economics at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, has been named chief economist for the U.S. Secretary of Labor. Professor Hunt is taking a leave of absence from Rutgers while serving in the Obama administration.

Before joining the Rutgers faculty, Professor Hunt taught at McGill University, the University of Montreal, and Yale University. Dr. Hunt is graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she majored in electrical engineering. She earned a Ph.D. in economics at Harvard University.
