Lisa Lynch Reappointed Dean of the Heller School at Brandeis University

lynchlisa620Lisa M. Lynch has been appointed to a second five-year term as dean of the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts. She also serves as the Maurice B. Hexter Professor of Economic and Social Policy at the university. Professor Lynch is the former chief economist for the U.S. Department of Labor and former chair of the board of governors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. Previously, she has served on the faculty at Tufts University, MIT, Ohio State University, and the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom. This summer she will become the president of the Labor and Employment Relations Association.

Professor Lynch is a graduate of Wellesley College, the prestigious women’s college in suburban Boston. She holds master’s and doctoral degrees from the London School of Economics.
