Four Women Scholars Appointed to Endowed Faculty Chairs

takSunghee H. Tak was appointed to the Loewenberg Endowed Chair of Excellence at the School of Nursing at the University of Memphis. She will also serve as the associate dean for research. She previously served on the faculty at the College of Nursing of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

Dr. Tak is a graduate of Seoul National University and holds a doctoral degree from the University of Texas at Austin.

eichman-photoAnne Eichmann was named Ensign Professor of Cardiology at the Yale University School of Medicine in Connecticut. She joined the Yale faculty in 201o after conducting research at the College de France.

Dr. Eichmann holds a master’s degree from the Weizmann Institute in Rehovot, Israel. She earned a Ph.D. in molecular and cell biology from the University of Paris.

glazeFlorence Elize Glaze has been chosen as the next holder of Clark Chair in History at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina. She is currently chair of the history department at the university and will assume her new teaching post in August.

Dr. Glaze is a graduate of the College of Charleston. She holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. from Duke University.

Campbell-CConstance Campbell was named to the W. E. Carter Chair in Business Administration at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro. She has been serving as a professor of management in the College of Business Administration at the university. She joined the faculty at Georgia Southern in 1992.

Professor Campbell is a graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University. She earned a master’s degree from the University of Kentucky and a Ph.D. in organizational behavior from Florida State University.
