Oklahoma State University Professor Wins Book Award from the National Communications Association

Holtzhausen, professor and director of the School of Media and Strategic Communications at Oklahoma State University, was presented with the 2012 Outstanding Book Award from the Public Relations Division of the National Communications Association. She was honored for the book Public Relations as Activism: Postmodern Approaches to Theory & Practice.

Dr. Holtzhausen has led what is now the School of Media and Strategic Communications since 2008. She is a graduate of the University of Pretoria and holds a master’s degree from the University of South Africa and a Ph.D. from the University of Johannesburg.
