Susan Crawford Sullivan’s Book Honored by the Society for the Scientific Study of Religion

SullivanSC51deeOIDmiL._AA160_Susan Crawford Sullivan, assistant professor of sociology at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, recently received the 2012 Distinguished Book Award from the Society for the Scientific Study of Religion. Dr. Sullivan, who is an Edward Bennett Williams Fellow at Holy Cross, was honored for her book Living Faith: Everyday Religions and Mothers in Poverty (University of Chicago Press). The book was previously honored by the American Sociological Association.

Dr. Sullivan received a master’s degree from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University. She earned Ph.D. in sociology at Harvard University.
