New Dean of the College of Liberal Arts at Wright State University

Kristin D. Sobolik was appointed dean of the College of Liberal Arts at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. Since 2010, she has been serving as associate dean for research and external affairs for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Maine. Previously, she was chair of the department of anthropology at the University of Maine and director of the university’s Climate Change Institute.

Dr. Sobolik is a graduate of the University of Iowa, where she majored in biology. She holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in anthropology from Texas A&M University.
