Beth Boehm Named Dean of the School of Interdisciplinary and Graduate Studies at the University of Louisville

Beth A. Boehm was named dean of the School of Interdisciplinary and Graduate Studies at the University of Louisville. She has served as interim dean since 2009. She is the first permanent dean since the creation of the school in 2008. Dr. Boehm will continue to hold the position of vice provost for graduate affairs.

Her goals are to improve doctoral student retention and to lessen the time it take for students to complete their graduate degrees.

Dr. Boehm is a graduate of Georgetown University and holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in English from Ohio State University.
