Elizabeth Scharman Honored by the American Academy of Clinical Toxicology

Elizabeth J. Scharman, professor in the School of Pharmacy at West Virginia University, received the 2012 Distinguished Service Award from the American Academy of Clinical Toxicology.

Dr. Scharman also serves as director of the West Virginia Poison Center and is the deputy strategic national stockpile coordinator for the state of West Virginia.

Dr. Scharman is a graduate of Butler University in Indianapolis. She earned a doctorate in pharmacy from Virginia Commonwealth University.
