Two Women Named to the Faculty at the University of Wisconsin Superior

The University of Wisconsin Superior has six new faculty members on campus this semester. Two of the new hires are women.

Kay Biga was hired as an assistant professor of business law. She has taught business courses at the university as an adjunct professor and has worked as an attorney and mediator.

Biga is a graduate of Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota. She holds a master’s degree in management from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota, and a law degree from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Maureen Rappley Larson was appointed assistant professor of social work. She has been an adjunct professor of social work at the university for several years. She also has extensive professional experience as a therapist and as director of advocacy programs.
