Patricia Stewart Stepping Down From Vice Chancellor Post at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro

Patricia Stewart, vice chancellor for university advancement at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, has announced that she will step down at the end of the academic year. Dr. Stewart has led the university’s fundraising programs for the past 13 years. During her tenure, the university’s endowment increased by 75 percent.

Before joining the administration at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, she was a vice president of the Florida State University Foundation. Dr. Stewart holds bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees from Pennsylvania State University.

Judy Piper, senior development director for the university’s College of Arts and Sciences will take over Stewart’s responsibilities until a new permanent vice chancellor is appointed.
