Survey Finds That College Women Are Frequent Victims of Dating Violence and Abuse

A new survey conducted by the Love Is Not Abuse program, sponsored by Liz Claiborne Inc., found that 43 percent of college women have been victims of violent or abusive dating behavior. More than one in five college women reported have been victims of dating violence. The survey also found that 38 percent of college women did not know how to get help on campus if they were victimized by dating violence.
