Kathleen Lee to Lead the Central Indiana Region of Ivy Tech Community College

Kathleen Lee has been named chancellor of the Central Indiana region of Ivy Tech Community College. The region serves 30,000 students in the Indianapolis metropolitan area and surrounding counties in central Indiana. Nearly 60 percent of the total enrollments are women.

Dr. Lee began her career at Ivy Tech in 1985 and most recently has been serving as interim chancellor of the Central Indiana region. Previously, she was vice chancellor of academic affairs and dean of the School of Health Sciences and Public Services.

Dr. Lee holds an associate’s degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine and a bachelor’s degree from Muskingum University in New Concord, Ohio. She earned a master’s degree in adult education from Indiana University and an educational doctorate from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana.
