Five Women Promoted to Full Professor at Oklahoma State University

Oklahoma State University has announced the promotions of 17 faculty members at its flagship campus in Stillwater from associate professor to full professor. Of the 17 new full professors, five are women.

Jeanette Mendez was promoted to professor of political science. She has taught at Oklahoma State since 2006. Professor Mendez is graduate of Santa Clara University and holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. from Indiana University.

Judith Cronk is a new full professor of theatre. She has been a member of the faculty at Oklahoma State since 1991. A graduate of Nazareth College in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Professor Cronk holds a master of fine arts degree from Wayne State University.

Lynna Ausburn was named full professor of teaching and curriculum leadership. She holds a doctorate in instructional technology systems and educational psychology from the University of Oklahoma.

Hongyu Wang was promoted to full professor of teaching and curriculum leadership. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from universities in China and earned a doctorate in curriculum theory from Louisiana State University.

Amanda Morris was named full professor of human development and family science. She is a graduate of Southwestern University and holds a Ph.D. in developmental psychology from Temple University.
